Jesse Eisenberg had previously made When You Finish Saving the World, which was interesting but unfortunately a bit annoying. Here, Eisenberg’s direction and screenplay for this film shows that he has improved greatly as many of the characters are interesting and engaging, good dialogue and great performances, especially Kieran Culkin who steals the show throughout the film. The narrative explores family history and complicated relationships as each theme and exploration of the themes were handled well and it was fun, emotional and engaging to watch. This included beautiful camera work, a good score, and conversations that felt real, authentic, and engaging. Eisenberg’s approach to chemistry, structure, and pacing was good as he crafted a really beautiful, engaging, and personal story about family history and the true meaning of bonding and relationships.
But overall, Eisenberg has improved and I can’t wait to see what else he can bring to the table. From Alien: Romulus to Road House, check out some of our favorite posters from 2024.

The couple compromise and move on, slowly coming back to each other in this idyllic setting. It’s a good thing it crashes, right? As the couple grapples with this intruder at the height of their already tense dynamic, KJ and Dan begin to worry that this annoying third circle could threaten more than just their relationship…

Game of Thrones boasts an intricate plot with complex characters, stunning cinematography, and intense action sequences, especially its many battles and fights. It’s hard to deny that it wasn’t a cultural phenomenon that captivated me and many others for eight seasons.
However, despite still having stunning visuals and extremely high production value, like many fans, I was left disappointed and somewhat frustrated with the narrative of the final season and how certain plot points were handled, which reduced my rating from a ten to a nine. Despite this, Game of Thrones still remains a must-watch series for me and I would still highly recommend it to any fan of the fantasy genre or drama in general.

Included in Half in the Bag: 2022 Mid-Year Catch-Up Part 1 (TV Shows) (2022). Que Sera, Sera (Whatever Will Be, Will Be) Written by Jay Livingston and Ray Evans. Sung by The Pixies. Good storytelling.
Good characters, as most of them have common sense. Bloody as hell at times. Lots of mysterious things to think about. I really enjoyed the first season and hope they do another one.
There aren’t many good horror TV series left.
